Restaurant set for the New Year’s Eve menu

Would you like to celebrate the New Year without stress and loud noise? At our Campingplatz Harfenmühle we celebrate New Year’s Eve in a very special way: without fireworks!

Starter mountain cheese muffin with apple and lamb's lettuce

A paradise for dogs and nature lovers

We don't have any fireworks or loud firecrackers here. There's an important reason for that: We want everyone to feel comfortable – especially our four-legged friends.

Sea bream with roasted vegetables and curry
  • Happy dogs: For dogs, New Year's Eve is often pure stress. With us, they can sleep relaxed while their owners enjoy the new year.

  • Enjoy the peace and quiet: Even for people who love the silence of nature, a New Year's Eve without noise is a real blessing.

A Feast in Two Rounds

So that many could get a seat and we could feast together, our festive New Year’s Eve menu was served at the restaurant at two different times:

  1. The early round (16:00): Perfect for anyone who prefers to wind down the evening cozily or snuggle with their dogs early.

  2. The late round (20:00): Here we feasted and then toasted the New Year together in the restaurant.

Our New Year's Eve Menu 2025/26

We spoiled our guests with four fine courses and matching wines from the Nahe region:

  • Starter: A savory mountain cheese muffin with apple and fresh lamb's lettuce. It was perfectly accompanied by a dry Pinot Blanc from Dönnhoff Winery.

  • Intermediate course: Delicate sea bream with roasted vegetables and a hint of curry. The fish was accompanied by a Riesling Grauschiefer from Lindenhof Winery.

  • Main course: Tender pork fillet with a potato and pointed cabbage tart and a rich onion jus. A fine Pinot Noir aged in barrel from Montigny Winery rounded off the course.

  • Dessert: For a sweet finish, there was a coffee parfait on an apricot coulis with mascarpone. It was paired with a fruity Riesling Kabinett from K. H. Schneider Winery.

Our Conclusion

It was a wonderful evening full of enjoyment and good cheer. It is nice to see that the new year can also be welcomed quietly and warmly. We are pleased that so many guests (and their dogs!) celebrated with us.

Would you like to experience next New Year's Eve without fireworks too? Book your spot for the next turn of the year as early as possible. We look forward to starting the new year relaxed with you and your furry friends!
